Frequently Asked Questions

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you cannot find the answer to your question.

  1. We think outside the box. Our filters embed amorphous metal (hydr)oxides, which present a rich diversity of chemical binding sites and defect structures—a performance envelope that crystalline materials struggle to match, especially in complex waters.
  2. We have a decentralized adaptive technology. We integrate the amorphous phases directly into a carbon block scaffold or any other filters of any shape, or even granular activated carbon. This means no change in the original filters' abilities, shape factor, and hydraulic performance, while furnishing reactive adsorption sites and adding several new abilities to the filter.
  3. Our materials are tunable and resilient. We can deliver consistently high arsenic removal in varying water chemistries. The flexibility of the design means lower cost and facile scaling and faster adoption across multiple geographies and water challenges.
  4. We are providing a deep scientific university technology. Our technology is supported by patents and we have lots of guaranteeing evidence and data out of our evaluations and tests.

Higher surface area, diversity of active sites, tunability, affordable synthesis, and accessibility that often outperform crystalline media in complex waters .

Our technology has been evaluated and efficiently treated various water matrices, from real groundwater samples, to tap water in Arizona and challenge waters at pH 8.5 and 6.5.

Our materials remove arsenic (both As(V) and As(III)), other oxyanions (e.g., vanadium, chromium, selenium), metals (e.g., lead and copper), and organic pollutants (e.g., PFAS and dyes) simultaneously in one single module.

The only way is to test the water through certified labs. Arsenic does not have any tast, odor, or color in drinking water.
