AmorpH2O LLC was founded in 2025 by Dr. Alireza Farsad, emerging from years of applied research conducted at Arizona State University. At AmorpH2O, we are dedicated to delivering science-driven solutions for water-related challenges. We understand real community needs and rely on science to meet them effectively.
Founded in Arizona, where arsenic and other metals naturally occur in groundwater, our mission is to advance amorphous materials to tackle pressing water-quality issues, starting with the removal of arsenic and metals from drinking water. AmorpH2O was established to translate cutting-edge amorphous metal (hydr)oxide science into practical filtration media and technologies.
Our company brings together background and expertise in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, water treatment, and product design to achieve what matters most: delivering clean, safe water at the tap. We value science, responsible claims, field-driven design, access and equity, and long-term partnerships. To achieve our goals, we collaborate with academic, community, and industry partners to accelerate validation and deployment.
